Winkler Ridgeline Hatchet
The WK Ridge Line Hatchet was designed incorporating observations from other axes made by Winkler Knives. Some of the Tier 1 Team specific axes have more of a cutting edge that performs very well, so we gave the WK Ridge Line Hatchet a much wider blade than any of our other axes. The most common repair we make is to full length wooden handles on full tang axes- often, a miss-lick or attempting to split logs will cause damage. We shortened the handle scales, leaving the tang exposed to take the brunt of abuse. We learned from the WK Twenty 24 Axe that 1/4" steel balances incredibly well and has quicker action so we chose the thinner steel, rather than our typical 3/8" stock. Also, much like the Twenty 24, the rear spike is effective for breaching and/or combat applications, and it is also an effective digging tool.

Only Maple, Camo G10 and Wasp Handles are available with Sculpting. No Tribal markings on this model.
