Strider SMF DGG – Hand Ground Bowie – PD1 Steel – Black PVD – Full Titanium – Performance Hardware

Strider SMF DGG – Hand Ground Bowie – PD1 Steel – Black PVD – Full Titanium

The Strider SMF Double Gunner Grip (DGG) combines full titanium construction, an aggressive hand-ground Bowie blade, and premium upgraded hardware in one of Strider’s most recognizable full-size folding knife platforms.

This configuration features a PD1 tool steel blade with a black PVD finish, full titanium Double Gunner Grip handles, and upgraded performance hardware. The deeply machined titanium scales create a distinctive textured appearance, contrasting with the dark blade and polished metallic accents.

Hand-Ground PD1 Bowie Blade

The centerpiece of this SMF is its hand-ground Bowie blade, manufactured from PD1 tool steel.

PD1 is known for its toughness, wear resistance, and edge retention, making it well suited to demanding cutting applications.

The black PVD blade finish creates a striking contrast against the titanium handle, while the Bowie profile features a pronounced clipped point and aggressive cutting geometry.

The blade also features Strider’s signature oval thumb opening hole, spine jimping, and prominent blade markings.

Full Titanium Double Gunner Grip (DGG)

This SMF features Double Gunner Grip milling on both titanium handle scales, rather than the traditional G10 presentation side found on many Strider configurations.

The deeply machined DGG texture provides a substantial gripping surface and gives the knife its unmistakable appearance.
