Nothing had ever achieved a thru-hardness of HRC60 other than ferrous alloys. Then came the work of Fred Yolton, Eric Bono and Duane Dwyer. This project went on to become a significant and measurable leap in the history of Mankind. This advent marks the first and still ... only, truly thru-hardenable, nonferrous material grade ever produced to achieve HRC60. This blade is certified HRC60 +/-
